Daranak Falls

Nature always wears the colors of the spirit.

-Ralph Waldo Emerson

Who would have thought hidden wonders exist not too for from the rush of the city - it only takes two hours (probably just one if there was no traffic) to get there. After our Antipolo adventure, Rizal province never ceases to make us feel like we've travelled far; like the city isn't just thirty minutes away. Our exodus to the prvince of Tanay was a breath of fresh hair - literally and figuratively. If all you're asking is a short break from the noise of the urban life without having to jeopardize your finances and sacrifice your time, then travel with us to the ravishing province of not too far from here - Tanay Rizal's Daranak Falls.

Let's talk budget, saan aabot ang fifty pesos na'min?

Daranak Fall's entrance fee of fifty pesos (for adults) comes with witnessing the grace of how water is released by the mountains (yeah I was referring to the waterfalls LOL), swimming in clear waters, mini cliff diving (15 feet), tutorials on rock balancing (note: Tanay is the pioneer in rock balancing in the Philippines), friendly tour guide kuyas, friendly kuyas-slash-lifeguards, fresh hair, a nice Instagram photo (because everything is definitely Instagrammable!), and bragging rights.

Take it from The Cabin Crew, Daranak Falls is your one stop shop to an affordable yet fulfilling adventure.
