Legazpi Sunday Market

Have you ever found yourself bored on a weekend? Not knowing what to do or where to go? Well, I bet most of us have. Despite the tons of social networking sites, technology and whatnot in this century, there will be times and instances where we wouldn’t know what else to do. But have you checked out your window lately? See the sky, feel the breeze and hear the birds sing! Somewhere nearby, you might find some interesting place to go to.

If you live near Makati, or find yourself somewhere in the area, here are places where you might want to spend time on.

Legazpi Sunday Market

The renowned organic and open-air market located at Herrera cor. Legazpi Street, Legazpi Salcedo Village, Makati is a go-to place if you're into healthy and homemade food and exotic products. The Legazpi Sunday Market, open from 8am until 2pm, is a recommended place to go after Sunday morning church with your family, or simply a place where you could wander around on your own.

Everywhere you look, appetizing food will always catch your attention. From grilled fish, grilled pork, grilled patties and your favorite home-cooked Filipino dishes, they will simply make you drool like no tomorrow. And if you're too lazy to go to the supermarket, there are also stalls that sell fresh organic vegetables that would surely fit your needs in the kitchen!

Food are not the only things visible in the market. There are also stalls that sell clothes, accessories, paintings, home displays and a lot more!

So if you want to experience those weekend market feels in American movies, I suggest you take a tour around the Legazpi Sunday Market. You don’t have to bring much money because the estimated budget for this is ranging between P350-P500. Unless of course you’ll buy everything in the market; now that’s another story!
