Cresecent Moon Cafe
Located deep in Ascencion Road, Barangay Dalig, Antipolo City, Rizal (we say this because we missed it the first time - so make sure to watch for the left side of the street), Crescent Moon Cafe and Studio Pottery houses homemade suman paired with in-house hot chocolate, lunch buffets, and interiors featuring Lanelle Abueva-Fernando's handmade ceramics.
With forty pesos, their no-sugar-required yet not too sweet suman may be your best one yet. Its match with hot chocolate is your best option for breakfast. However, lunch buffets are provided upon reservations through contacting (02) 234 5724. Their buffet features six meals of authentic Filipino cooking.
Eating isn’t the only activity in Crescent Moon Cafe, in case you thought we missed the “Studio and Pottery” part, we didn’t! A few steps away from the cafe, a small room of shelves with several fragile things is located. Finished products of plates, bowls, mugs, and other ceramic things can be bought for two-hundred pesos a kilo. Some ceramics even feature plates from their customers over at Yabu restaurant, Shangri-La Boracay Hotel, The Spa, among others.
We were not permitted to visit their main pottery area where you can see live pottery making though as prior permission from the owner is required.
